I just wanted to highlight one of the items the bot bought last week with the keyword “magic”, as you might be surprised to find items under $1 with free shipping on Amazon.
The bot buys quite a few items from Amazon, although note as many as AliExpress and Ebay that have larger reservoirs of $1 and $2 products. The benefit of Amazon is fast shipping times – unlike the Chinese merchants that take 4-8 weeks to deliver.
Another oddly specific tool – here is n knife specially designed for opening ipads.
The bot found this last week using the keyword “tool” which picks up quite a few of these very specialized tools that you only discover after trawling through the underbelly of AliExpress.
The bot bought this colorful multi-block pencil last week using the keyword “color”.
I would have expected each section to be a different color, but it looks like they are all just graphite pencil. I suppose that is what you get for 61 cents. However you can turn it into a rocket ship, which is a plus.
Lets put this in the oddly specific category… here is an item that the bot found for the keyword “tool” last week.
This is a tool that “is great for easily fitting and removing spring bars and watch band lugs”. It looks more like a dentist’s tool to me. It must be helpful for watch self-repair somehow. If this arrives in your mailbox, perhaps you can let us know.
The same subscriber who got Toad from the bot just sent me a couple pictures of a Mario figure the bot bought as well. Take a look! Both were bought under the keyword “action figure”.
Who doesn’t need a purple pizza knife in their kitchen?
This was sent last week to several subscribers, most of whom had the keyword “kitchen” or “knife” in their profile. What are the chances one of them also has all purple utensils?
I just got an email from a subscriber who has received a few high quality items from the bot recently, including the below handsome toad figure, using the keyword ‘action figure’.
I was surprised to see that the bot found and bought a wrist watch for just 99 cents.
It looks high quality given the price and would be useful anytime you need a disposable watch/clock that that could get damaged. The silicone + LED gives it a futuristic look. A poor man’s apple watch.
Last week one of the bot’s lucky subscribers got this toilet sticker to greet them in the bathroom.
Hopefully it is not too difficult to remove!
I just wanted to re-post here pictures of this awesome toy phone that Lauren made for her son out of items sent by the bot.
She posted on our nascent facebook page, which is just getting started, writing “Made my son a toy phone out of the cool Digimon phone case he got today. Didn’t fit any of our phones, but he was excited to get something different (it’s been mostly Lego figures so far).”
